Democrat Hypocrisy On Parade

So, once again, the Obama Adminstration is bashing Wall Street and bankers as greedy fatcats, and sending out the Pay Czar to make sure people in corporate America don't make "too much". In the meantime, the next spending bill being pushed through Congress will increase salary and benefits for PUBLIC employees at taxpayer expense.

Wonderful: before the spending bill, one person in the Transportation Department made more than 170 grand base salary. With the bill, over 1,000 of them will. And that's just one example. We're still stinging over the revelation that Senator Max Baucus was approving pay raises of 14,000.00 or more to his staff members. Remember, Federal Employees also get their own retirement fund and they don't pay into Social Insecurity.

WE PRIVATE EMPLOYEES, on the other hand, are dealing with pay free freezes or cuts to avoid layoffs, and the Gub-Mint is looking to TAX our benefits, including our privately-funded healthcare, as PAY. We, who worked hard building careers so that we could qualify to be employed by companies that provide better pay and benefits, get to be robbed even more to pay for salary increases for Max Baucus' staff members, who were well-paid BEFORE they got raises.

"B-b-b-b-b-b-ut these people are PUBLIC SERVANTS!"

So are military personnel, and they got a measly 5%, which Barbara Boxer brags about constantly to her constituents, while she gets an instant 4,000.00 increase, even though her husband is rich.

Tell the Chosen One to GET HIS HANDS OFF OUR PAY. If he's so concerned about the spending habits of banks and investment firms, STOP GIVING THEM TARP MONEY. Even after bailing out GM and Chrysler, they declared Chapter 11 anyway. Let the Private Sector clean up its own messes.

If the Democrats in Gub-Mint really want to get their house in order, tell them fire to Barney Frank, and then order Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac to STOP GUARANTEEING RISKY HOME LOANS.

GUB-MINT spending is still out of control. The Dems want to blame Bush, but place them in power, and you get a drunken sailors spending spree on social services and salaries for taxpayer-funded make-work jobs. The only difference between Big Gub-Mint and a drunken sailor is that the drunken sailor blows his own money.

Oh, boy... here come the windmills!
