Regardless of what Liberals Say About Obamacare...
...health care is not a "right".
Just because the taxpayer is being expected to pay more and more, through taxation, for the 'rights' of everyone else to have "free" access to comprehensive medical care, we cannot realistically expect that it is considered a "right".
A "right" is undeniable, no matter what, with no repercussions for exercising that right. You cannot be denied it for any reason, such as the right to legal representation in court, regardless of ability to pay.
In the case of public healthcare, using that "right" is conditional.
For example, if you get treated for lung cancer from chain-smoking cigarettes, you will then be compelled to join a smoking abatement program. If you're treated for high blood pressure due to obesity, you're compelled to go on a diet and stay away from the Big Macs. If you show up in the hospital covered in scabs and suffering from hepatatis due to drug addiction, you're sent to rehab.
There will be numerous conditions placed upon your life by an ever-growing nanny government, all created in your "best interest" by an ivory tower elite who know better, much better than an idiot like you, what's best for your life. Remember that.
Every time you depend on your government for something, you kiss one more piece of your freedom goodbye.
Think about that as you applaud government healthcare. How much fealty must you now give to the King (Big Government)?
