Pelosi's Trillion Dollar Christmas "Spirit"

SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE NANCY PELOSI, D-CALIF.: "I'm confident — I'm hopeful that we will have a bill as a Christmas present to the American people."

So what is it, Nan? Are you "confident", or just hopeful? Can't make up your tiny mind as usual? Need a teleprompter?

Gee, when somebody "gives" you a present, do they usually ask you to pay for it? Kinda messes with that whole "giving" idea, doesn't it? Perhaps the Queen of the Dimmitude needs to look up the word "give" in her Funk and Wagnalls BEFORE she spouts off her ignorance in public.

On top of that, the majority of the people don't want this "gift", Nancy, at least in form you're offering it. So, what does that make your Obamacare? A trillion dollar white elephant.

This "gift" from the Democrats is like one of those "gifts" you get from somebody trying to sell you a vacation timeshare; you know, a condo in some place like Vegas, where you get to use the toilets 2 weeks out of the year. When you finally say "no" to the desperate salesperson 20 times, you get a "gift" for attending the presentation. However, this "gift" is usually something like a free 2-night stay at another timeshare resort, where you'll have to attend another presentation, and say "no" another 20 times, or they'll charge you for the stay. And you have pay for your own travel. Some "free gift", huh? What you're really holding in your hand is a practically worthless voucher, and the timeshare corporation knows it.

The same goes for Obamacare. You're told it's "free" until the IRS hands you the bill. But you DON'T get out of paying for it by attending a sales presentation. Your President and Congress already said "yes" for you.

Yeah, thanks, Nancy for blabbering your stupidity once more. It's been real enlightening.

So, How's That "Hopey-Changey" Thing Working?

Hey, Democrats!

I'm beginning to think your Pesident is the band leader on the Titanic. He's running around the country (in between Sundays on the golf course) and preaching that the biggest threat to our national economy is the rising cost of healthcare.

Uh, Mr. President, get a clue. The average joe isn't worried that he's going to be put under by a catastrophic illness. He's concerned about A CATASTROPHIC ECONOMY THAT IS SENDING PEOPLE TO THE UNEMPLOYMENT LINE AND NOT CREATING JOBS.

At least President Bush wasn't trying to blow smoke up the public's wazoo about economic recovery, because businesses were recovering and people were working. Obama's "Hope and Change" seems to be a boon for people that don't like to work, anyway. Most people want to do better.

So, tell me, Democrats: what part of tripling the deficit is going to fix our economy, especially when most of that spending mandated by the Gub-mint is on itself?
