The "Free Mumia" Movement Defies Simple Logic

I'm not not going to go into all the details about convicted murderer Mumia Abu-Jamal. If you aren't familiar with this famous case, read about it here:

This guy spawned a 3 decade movement based on his supposed innocence. There's now a movie out that tries to sympathize with this movement, just to keep the minions in a lather.

The only reason I'm even talking about this is because you have to put your brain on hold to think Mumia Abu-Jamal is innocent.

Let's review the facts:

A Policeman was shot to death.

The murder weapon was right at the scene.

Ballistics examinations matched bullet fragments in the body to the murder weapon.

The murder weapon was registered to Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Abu-Jamal was wearing a shoulder holster.

The cop fired off a shot in self-defense. That shot hit Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Defenders of Mumia Abu-Jamal claim someone else shot the policeman with Mumia's gun and ran away. This belief is bolstered by the fact that forensic examiners didn't try to get any fingerprints off the murder weapon because they believed the prints would have been contaminated.

Nonetheless, you need to suspend common logic if think Abu-Jamal didn't do it.

If Mumia Abu-Jamal didn't shoot that cop, who grabbed his gun and fired it? You'd think that if a guy got close enough to grab your pistol from a shoulder holster, you wouldn't have any trouble identifying the thug.

Derrrrrr....

The fact that Mumia Abu-Jamal tried to defend himself in court and turned that trial into a circus only cements in my mind that he is guilty, and he isn't man enough to admit it, apologize for it, and take his lumps.

Daniel Faulkner was just a lower middle class guy who served his country in the Army, and his city as a policeman.

Daniel Faulkner didn't need to die. He was just doing his job. An angry activist killed him over a simple traffic violation. That is nothing but pure selfishness, not to mention extreme stupidity.

The sad fact is, Mumia Abu-Jamal got better than he deserves. He should be thankful that his death sentence was overturned on a mere technicality. The rest of the case is evident to anybody with a fully functioning brain.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is a killer who never apologized for his crime. His celebrity status is undeserved, and the people who maintain his innocence are in denial of irrefutable facts and simple logic. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see through the silliness of the "Free Mumia" movement.

May Mr. Abu-Jamal enjoy his time at the Grey Bar Hilton.

President Obama Appeases the Pro Gun Crowd

My fellow Americans,

Contrary to what gun owners say about me, I am not against private gun ownership.

To aid all Americans in participating in their 2nd Amendment rights, I propose a new program.

Anybody who wishes to own a firearm will be given a musket, paid for by your government. Instructions for its proper use will be provided.

Government approved black powder will be available for 100 dollars an ounce.

Traditional lead musket balls are environmentally unsafe. Musket balls of a government approved material will be available for 10 dollars apiece.

All proceeds from the sale of black powder and musket balls will be used for gang violence abatement and birth control education programs.

I believe now that my administration has come up with a compromise on gun ownership that is satisfactory in meeting the intent of the Founding Fathers when they wrote the 2nd Amendment.

DNC Clusterflop, The Fear 'n' Smear Fest

I didn't need to watch much of the DNC, because it was entirely predictable. I knew it was going to be 3 nights of repeating the same boring worn-out Obama talking points, embellishment of Obama's so-called "accomplishments", and the lame mock-and-ridicule tactics that the Democrats use in place of an actual record to run on.

And then when you couple that with the moving of the outdoor arena speech back to the indoor venue, you get a recipe for disappointment. You know, I haven't heard any mention of whether or not the DNC is going to refund the ticket money to the people that got shut out. How much do you want to bet those ticket holders are out of luck?

"Sorry, Charlie, you just made a donation to the Chosen One."

The most pathetic moment was bringing on their favorite has-been, Bill Clinton, who stands as living proof that Democrats have few, if any, morals. Only the Democrats would make a god out of a draft-dodging philandering liar who plea-bargained his fanny out of civil trials his last day in office. Bill Clinton is an absolute disgrace to the presidency, yet he is still worshiped by the Democrats as if he were divine. It was truly disgusting to watch Bill Clinton wiggle that crooked finger of his as he spoke... the same crooked finger he used when he said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky."

The other truly laughable moment was EX-governor Granholm mocking Romney's car elevator in defense of Obama's GM bailout, (which looks like may wind up in a bankruptcy filing anyway). Is a car elevator really a political issue? Maybe somebody needs to remind the former governor of one of the most economically depressed states in the country that at least a car elevator means a job or 2.

Obama? Same old tired crap. By his own standards in 2008, he's failure, but we still need to "stay the course"... we've come so far, we can't turn around when we're so close to driving off the cliff!

I knew it was going to be a freaking circus, which is why I chose to watch the football season opener. I wonder if "Honey Boo-Boo" drew a bigger audience than old Mr. Wigglefinger. At least she's cute and fresh, vs. a tired old windbag with a voice like an out-of-tune bagpipe. What's funnier is that his wife wasn't even there to cheer her old man on.

THAT speaks volumes about Bill Clinton and his fading celebrity status.

And it says even more about the shrill Cirque Du Stupide that was the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

"Michelle" Kosilek: Another Liberal Outrage

As Liberal Democrats scream and cry about wasting taxpayer funds on "unfunded wars", the "military industrial complex" or "tax cuts for the rich", we taxpayers get yet another wonderful waste of money thrown at us: a judge has ordered a TAXPAYER-funded "gender-reassignment surgery" procedure for convicted murderer (soon be be murderess, according to liberal groupthink) Robert "Michelle" Kosilek.

This malarkey began 12 years when Kosilek was diagnosed by prison shrinks as having "Gender Identity Disorder"... you know, the old "I'm a woman trapped in a man's body" claim. Since the politicization of the American Psychology Association and reclassification of various sexual dysfunctions, we're now being forced to foot the bill for a surgical procedure which is not medically necessary by any traditional definition. It's cosmetic. Sex change operations don't fix DNA. "Michelle" will always be genetically a male despite his outward appearance.

First of all, what's disgusting is that a private attorney was hired to represent Kosilek. I assume the taxpayer gets hit with this bill, too. Lawyers make 300 dollars an hour. Thanks, libs.

Second is all the outpouring of sympathy for this killer. The LGBT community is applauding this decision, because it will help this poor shattered soul.

According to the Boston Globe:

“It’s great to see a judge recognize that transition-related health care is medically necessary health care and that transgender prisoners are entitled to the same health care that other folks who are incarcerated receive,” said Kristina Wertz, director of policy and programs at the Transgender Law Center in San Francisco.

Medically necessary for what? The guy lives in 8 x 10 box until he takes a dirt nap. What will a sex change operation gain him? And why should it matter? He's serving time for FIRST DEGREE MURDER. He should have been executed as justice for killing his wife.

Here's another tidbit from the Huffington Post:

[Judge Mark]Wolf noted that Kosilek's gender-identity disorder has caused her such anguish that she has tried to castrate herself and twice tried to commit suicide.

I guess prisoner Kosilek's desire to become a girl has caused him more anguish than strangling his wife, dumping her body in a car, and then trying to escape justice. Cue the violin music, please.

In Kosilek's case, the judge said, female hormones have "helped somewhat," but the inmate "continues to suffer intense mental anguish" because she truly believes she is a woman trapped in a man's body.
"That anguish alone constitutes a serious medical need," Wolf wrote. "It also places him at high risk of killing himself if his major mental illness is not adequately treated."

Does anybody care any more about the anguish Kosilek's wife went through as her husband choked the life out her, or the anguish his wife's family felt when their loved one was murdered?

What's even more sickening is that, while our President told a woman that under Obamacare granny may get pills instead of a pacemaker due to her age, we get to fully fund a sex change operation for a 57 year old convicted murderer who will never walk free again.

Here's an idea: if prisoner Kosilek can't handle life in prison, give him pills. He can have all the Paxcil he wants. Why do we need to feel sympathy for human being who is so selfish, that he feels he should get what he wants after denying a long life to his spouse, whom he was supposed to love and cherish forever?

Where's the justice here? And why doesn't the LGBT community try to set some moral standards?

Prison is DENIAL of the freedom you willingly walk away from when you commit a serious crime. That should include killers who think they should get taxpayer funded cosmetic surgery. This is a slap in the face to Kosilek's dead wife and her family. If he decides he no longer wants to live, let him have his way.

I Think Limbaugh May Be Right... Again

...when it comes to his idea that the Mainstream Media and the Press have a huge investment of their reputations tied up in Barack Obama, and their reactions to Paul Ryan's acceptance speech proves it.

The press, mainstream news, and left wing blogs are furiously fact-checking everything that comes from the mouths of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan and exploiting anything that doesn't suit their idea of what is "factually correct".

Take for example Ryan's comments about the GM plant that closed in spite of Obama's campaign promise to help it retool and stay open for another century.

The unified response is that "the decision was made by GM to close the plant before Obama took office".
Okay, guys, if that's true, it proves at best that Obama shot his mouth off again before checking his facts.

The REAL fact is that the mainstream media, left wing news channels, and left wing blogs are in unison on the 5 things they claim Paul Ryan lied about in his acceptance speech, even when they can be shown as factually incorrect in their criticisms.

Those sites which call themselves "fact checkers" are simply using the official DNC position as their reference point. Please don't lecture me on how biased Fox news is, when you have Rachel Maddow making factually incorrect assumptions against Conservatives, and blogs like HuffPo and Kos publishing anti-Republican hit pieces or lame op-eds that claim Fox News anchors are made up to look like prostitutes, for example.

These "fact-check" outlets are proving themselves to be Pravda-like tools of the Democrat Political machine, and people are beginning to wake up to this fact.

Bill Maher, Blowhard Deluxe

Good old Bill Maher, bloviating host of HBO's "Real Time" (one solid reason HBO does not count me as a subscriber). He's a real laugh fest, beginning with how he lost his ABC late night gig when he ridiculed the mentally challenged. 

Let's not forget his use of the "c" word in describing Sarah Palin and other female conservative spokespersons.

Now Bill Maher is jabbering about the Republicans and the fact that they are not as obsessed with George W. Bush as he is.

Bill, perhaps we need YOU to admit the historical existence of the pitiful candidates YOUR PARTY ran against Bush.

AL GORE and Joe Lieberman: The Dems thought he was a shoe-in until he began opening his mouth. Between Gore's really unlikeable demeanor and outright baldfaced lies, the resulting close race which was ended by the courts will most likely leave people like Bill gnashing their teeth until they die. The Dems should take heart of an observation by radio host Hugh Hewitt: If it isn't close, no one can cheat. The fact is, Al Gore was a lousy Vice President and he had all the charm of a zombie. The guy couldn't make his worldwide global warming concert turn a profit.

Later poor Al got dumped by his missus after he was busted for sexual advances towards a masseuse. The poor slob just can't buy a thrill. Dems thought he was real POTUS material, though.

Poor Joe Lieberman, who is basically a nice guy, is probably still facepalming over why he decided to be Gore's running mate. EPIC FAIL.

John Kerry and John Edwards: Kerry tried to run as a war hero ("I'm John Kerry and I'm reporting for duty!") after he served in the Navy and earned a purple heart for injuries that Mama could have fixed with a "boo-boo kiss". Kerry then tried to get us to forget he PROTESTED the war and threw his medals over the White House fence (which turned out later NOT to be his medals... he lied). How about his whopper which detailed his News Years Eve experience in Cambodia, which his former commanding officer flatly denied? Kerry was a clusterflop of biblical proportions, and perhaps the worst candidate the Dems fielded since Mondale. He earned the nickname of "Herman Munster", even though his namesake was at least likeable.

John Edwards: He has the dubious honor of being an even worse candidate than Kerry. This "preening metrosexual slug" (a term coined by conservative commentator Mark Steyn) made a fortune as an ambulance chasing attorney who extracted huge settlements from corporations.

After the defeat of the Kerry/Edwards ticket in 2004, John Edwards became a true public figure when he had to end his run as the Dem nominee for POTUS in 2008. It turns out that Edwards had a mistress, whom he had knocked up while his wife Elizabeth was gravely ill with cancer (she later died). Edwards was indicted for misuse of campaign funds but weaseled out of all the charges due to technicalities. Nonetheless, both his political and legal career are over. THIS is the man a guy like Bill Maher would have elected to be 2nd in line to the POTUS and possible future POTUS.

Yet Bill Maher wants to whine about the Republicans trying to forget Bush, after the wonderful candidates the Democrats offered up to beat the man they still consider to be a complete idiot.

Perhaps it's Mr. Maher who's in denial over a forgettable history of lousy presidential offerings.

Fox News has been the # 1 rated Cable News Network by far for years, and the Lefties can't beat them at their own game, so they sling dirt out of pure desperation. The same has been true of their treatment of Rush Limbaugh and other conservative talk show hosts. Can't out rate them? Then destroy them.

The LW media goes after makeup now, after their attempts to paint Fox News anchors as blonde airheads turned out to be an EPIC FAIL... you see, Monica here has a PhD. A fellow morning anchor, Megyn Kelly, another blonde bubblehead, has a degree in law from Columbia. The list goes on.

Even funnier is that the article compares Fox News anchor makeup with the "light makeup" of MSNBC's Rachel Maddow.

RACHEL MADDOW? Puleeeze... Maddow is openly lesbian and her on-air look is a concession to her bosses, as she tries to appear gender-neutral. I don't think your average woman is into the androgynous look.

Mr. Biden, Your Ignorance Is Showing... Again

Vice President Joe Biden, an unintentional celebrity over his dumb, racially insensitive banter, has now proven he also knows nothing about business.

On the campaign trail, Obama's Loose Cannon was attacking his critics over their assertion that Biden doesn't know the difference between "outsourcing" and "offshoring".

"What difference does it make?" hollered Biden at his audience. "You don't have a job!"

BZZZZZZZZZZZT! Wrong, Mr. Biden.

It's obvious the V.P. needs better show-prep.

We know offshoring means domestic jobs leaving, Mr. Biden, but it's a fact that most of those jobs are low-tech and don't require much skill. Even call centers don't take an extraordinary amount of training, and yet the trend of sending those jobs to India came about because a lack of qualified people domestically.

AND, outsourcing doesn't mean sending jobs overseas, or even losing jobs, Mr. Vice President.

Outsourcing is a smart way for many small businesses to free up their limited resources on things that matter most, like growing your business.

A good friend of mine runs an outsource company, which performs accounting, payroll, and business operating services for small businesses. These small businesses don't need a full time accountant, and they don't need to spend a huge amount of their time with mundane but necessary accounting tasks.

Also, my friend's company employs five people.

No jobs are lost here, Mr. Biden. Outsourcing presents a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to create specialized services to help insure success of other businesses. A doctor or lawyer running a private practice doesn't need to spend evenings running a Quickbooks program.

Also, my friend's company offers consulting services to help small businesses use available technology to operate their businesses more efficiently and even plan growth. And as needs grow, my friend's business will grow and hire more specialists.

SMART PEOPLE outsource when it makes sense and holds down bottom line. Since Joe Biden has been part of the Government Machine since The Who recorded "Quadrophenia", I guess he can't be expected to know how to run anything efficiently or within a budget.

Yet, he bloviates about it, anyway.

I'm wondering at this point if Mr. Obama has considered the merits of outsourcing Biden's function to a more  professionally run service.

Nahhhhhh... Joe Biden has "experience", remember?

Once again, the Left is whipping up a frenzy over nothing, calling the ignorant villagers to come running with their pitchforks and torches.

Rahm Emanuel. ex Obama cabinet member and frustrated do-nothing Mayor of Chicago, was first to lead the charge with his "these are not Chicago values" comment.

So, Mr. Emanuel, traditional biblical values are not "Chicago values"? Chicago has an enormous black population, and blacks are 80% evangelical Christians.

On top of that, Mr. Emanuel, those are OLD TESTAMENT biblical values. Aren't you supposed to be Jewish, Mr. Emanuel? I guess you're not very Jewish, are ya?

How about the Mayor of Boston following suit and attacking Chick-fil-A? I guess he forgot Boston is a city that is overwhelmingly Catholic.

Gee, liberals, thanks for blathering all about freedom and tolerance while demonstrating you have none of the latter and are doing the best stomp out the former.

So, what's next on the Hate List? The Democrats have demonstrated once more that they can only unite around values that Nazis cherish. 

Does Anybody Take Nancy Pelosi Seriously?

Asked in a recent interview about President Obama's support for Israel, good old Motormouth Nancy once again stumbles out a barely intelligible comment about Obama's willingness to sell Israel military equipment.

Wow. Just wow. Let's forget that Obama insulted Benjamin Netanyahu and also bowed to our enemies. Lefties don't care that Obama supports Israel with lip service.

Does it ever occur to Nancy not to drink before a live interview?

And why is anybody even asking her about foreign policy? Isn't she the same fool who wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on a foreign visit to the same guy who the Syrian Rebels are currently trying to boot out of Damascus? You know, another fine member of the Muslim Brotherhood, namely Bashir Assad?

Mrs. Pelosi, stop trying to be Henry Kissinger. Every word he utters displays his infinite wisdom, while YOU, Mrs. Pelosi, can barely string together a handful of words.

Nancy Pelosi is proof of the ignorance of the tyipcal Northern California voter.

And just what is Obama doing with the country you Democrats overwhelmingly "handed over" to him? Looks to me like he has squeezed all the money out of it for the next generation. At this time, the country has 82 trillion in liabilities and only 2 trillion in income.

In the private sector, that's a recipe for bankruptcy.

And I'd like to see what the fool who posted this nonsense calls "work". I guess there's no work involved in restructuring the Olympic Games event to help it actually pay for itself.

Of course, these talking points are presented as "fact" with no critical analysis (despite the fact that liberal Democrats are famous for claiming they hold the monopoly on critical thought). Here's a list of popular topics posted on a Craigslist forum with some honesty tossed in by me:

All by himself, nonetheless(smirk)! So why are we still getting salmonella recalls for that wonderful fresh lettuce Michelle wants us to eat?


•Advanced women's rights in the work place
Like the right to hold your employer hostage for a few months because you decided to get pregnant? I think an employer is being incredibly generous to keep hold your job for you, pay you for no work, and hire a temp to do your work for you while you enjoy motherhood. It stops being generosity, however, when you run to your liberal representative and make it a mandatory burden on a business owner.

•Ended Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT) in our military
So are the military recruitment offices now swarmed by gays wanting to join the service? Not really. It was just more posturing by the military-hating Left.

•Stopped defending DOMA in court.

Another bill that favors chosen people while ignoring the majority.

Uh, I thought judges were supposed to be appointed based on their legal experience vs. their polittical views. This an admission that the Left prefers to enforce the Tyranny of the Minority through the courts. Screw what the majority thinks!

All paid for by...... YOU AND ME. Liberals are so generous with other peoples' money.

•Expanded the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
Another burden states can't afford, thanks to our crappy economy.
 
•Fixed the preexisting conditions travesty [and rescissions] in health insurance.
Which could have been done WITHOUT nationalizing healthcare.

•Invested in clean energy.
...in companies that went bankrupt. Need I say more?

•Overhauled the credit card industry, making it much more consumer-friendly.
With 2000 pages of new regulations in addition to the 1000's that failed before. Good job!

•While Dodd-Frank bill was weak in many respects, it was still an extremely worthwhile start at re-regulating the financial sector.

Oh, boy, another expensive bureaucracy, named after the phony Indian Princess.

•He's done a lot for veterans
So did his predecessor. In fact, his predecessor took the time, and still takes the time, to visit and pray with wounded warriors, while Obama parties at George Clooney's Brentwood Palace.

•He got help for people whose health was injured during the clean-up after the 9/11 attacks.
That may be one of the few things Obama got right. His batting average is still pretty piss-poor in comparison.

Hey Democrats, why aren't you chiming about Obama "saving" General Motors? Could it be the latest news that GM is once more anemic, in debt, and that wonderful expensive Volt is the least popular model GM makes? Oh, snap, Obama proves once more that he's an amateur when it comes to business.

Why hasn't this stupid sorry excuse for a leader, who can't wait to get his ugly mug in front a camera, grown a pair and come out about the rash of pedophiles that are being busted in the LAUSD school system?
Like a die-hard liberal, he doesn't have the stones to make even a lame attempt at apologizing to the families that were traumatized by teachers employed during his watch.

He's too busy prepping himself for his emcee's gig at the DNC to be concerned with a major problem that is doing even greater damage to his already underachieving school district.

It's no surprise that California's largest and worst school district is in the hands of Los Angeles' worst mayor.

If  "Mayor Pothole" had any class at all, he'd be publicly apologizing and promising to do whatever he could to fix this problem and do his best to make sure it never happens again.

But guess what? He has said NOTHING.
