Can Anybody Take "The View" Seriously?

"The View" serves one useful purpose. It provides incentive to get a day job so that one doesn't accidentally stumble across it while channel-surfing on Monday through Friday.

The vapid commentary from the women on this program is just mind-numbing. From Whoopi Goldberg's "rape-rape" comment to the perpetaully obnoxious bantering from Joy Behar, I can't imagine why this awful program would have more viewers than the crew that produces this pile of time-wasting junk.

I like Elizabeth Hasselbeck, but I'm beginning to think she's a glutton for punishment. I just hope she's well-compensated for being the lone conservative who has to put up with the never-ending tripe coming from such wanna-be wonks as Goldberg and Behar.

The only shining moment this show had was when they dumped Rosie O'Donnell. I guess that proves even Barbara Walters has a maximum level of stupidity she's willing to tolerate.

Still, when it comes to the intelligence required to be a Left Wing commentator on "The View", it's a very low bar.

Thank the Lord I work for a living. The snippets from The View I see on the internet reassure me that working for a living is good.

Hasta La Vista and Good Riddance

Rosie O' Donnell, the imbecilic "Mouth That Roars", has FINALLY had to say 'buh-bye' to her post on that miserable excuse for an "issues" program, 'The View'. I guess even her lefty supporters have had all they can stomach of her blatant nastiness and overbearing stupidity. Although the Loony Left is overpopulated with emotion-driven knuckleheads, Rosie's own brand of ridiculousness has reached such lows that, regardless of what the ABC Networks P.R. Machine will admit, there gets to be a time when idiocy like Rosie's becomes impossible to defend.

So, according to the 'official' sources, Rosie and ABC couldn't come to a mutual contract agreement.

Basically, in my humblest of opinions, Rosie wants to renew her contract, and ABC says "sorry, Babe, but telling an audience that fire has never melted steel has a nasty way of flushing one's credibility down the potty."

There ARE limits to the stupidity which ABC will proffer as "truth".

To top things off, Rosie's latest tirade against Donald Trump, made at a very high-brow function (much to the embarassment of her boss, "Bah-Bah Wah-Wah'), has cemented in the minds of anybody with more than a Forrest Gump IQ that Rosie is nothing but a needlessly vulgar and completely classless human being, with the grace and manners of a gorilla (PETA will probably attack me for insulting the noble apes).

Personally, as I've said many times, there are few things more comical than condescendence fueled by stupidity, and in this vein Rosie O' Donnell is the Queen of Unintentional Comedy, a walking self-parody of gargantuan proprotions (no insult intended against heavy folks. I'm married to a 'curvy girl' and I like every bit of her).

So here's my tribute to Rosie, the Mass Media Knucklehead of the Year!
